Help Making Real Layouts?

anyway, i was hoping some of you can give me a few links to tutorials for creating REAL layouts, and that doesn't include pimp-my-profile, or freecodesource, ect. I really want to make my OWN layouts. maybe even start a site for it too -- like hood-skillz.com.





secondly - i need to know if it'll cost me anything because if it does than nevermind, im only 14 and there is no way my dad is going pay for me to make layouts!!!! your help and advice is greatly appreciated :)
