Div layouts vs html layouts?
This is a favorite discussion (or argument) issue.
There is no correct answer as to which form of layout is better (don't pay too much attention to those who keep rooting for DIVs).
It all depends on the design of the web site which might not be in your *full* control if the client/customer insists it that way. Though HTML table layouts increase the amount of code on the page, at times, the same holds true for CSS layouts and not all layouts are that simple to develop in CSS.
Having said that, on most of my web site projects, I use DIVs and stay away from HTML table layout, but for some client who don't want to bend (even a little, yes), I stick to the ol' HTML table routine.
